Cramming It In

This is what one would call "cramming it all in".  We sucked the life out of the last bit of summer, even down to the day before school started. What a great summer it's been! After vacation, we did a few more things before school started: 

We went to Six Flags with Mimi, Ruckus and Maisy.

We had a girls' day at Six Flags (in the rain) with Megan and her girls.  

We visited Megan's new baby.

We had a playdate with our buddies. 

We swam some more. 

Had a Fro Yo date with our buddy and his mom. 

On the day before school started, we went to Indian Camp Creek Park and played in the creek.  It was so fun! There were lots of other people there and Kate worked up her courage to jump off one of the little "cliffs". 

Happy end of summer!! 

End of Summer Playdate

These end of summer play dates are always sad.  The big kids are going back to school.  This year was even worse because Jack is joining the big kids.  We've all been having play dates together for four years and now both of my babies will be in school.  

I love this crazy crew and their mamas.  They are some of my very best friends and I'm not quite sure what I would do without them. 

This year, we had our last play date of the summer at Purina Farms. 

 Boo hoo... so long, sweet summer! 

June Happenings

Besides moving and all that comes with that, June was a fun and busy month! 

Here are the highlights: 

We went to the zoo with friends. 

We had A LOT going on at the house! Painter was here everyday for a week and a half, new carpet upstairs, new lights, new appliances delivered and installed... 

Kids started aqua camp.  Six hours a day ALL week long! Mommy loved it. Oh, and the kids did, too. 

Many days spent at Six Flags. 

Kate met new neighborhood friends.  

Mark and Kate went to the Daddy Daughter Date Night at Chick fil a. 

We did some swimming. 

And Kate, Mimi, and I went to see Wizard of Oz at Westminster. 

Let Summer Begin!!

Summer is starting off with a bang! We've done a lot already and it's not even June!

Kate and Jack both rode this.

We closed on our new house!! We move in a little over a week!
