Oh well... I guess the main point is that I at least have our family's memories documented (even if it is WAY after the fact).
Back to the topic of this post. A couple (few) weeks ago, we went to Rombach's Pumpkin Patch with our friends, Megan & Greg, and their little sweetie, Allie. It's become a Roskowske tradition to go to Rombach's. We have been going there the past three years and it really is a fun place.
And, is it just me, or did Kate look HUGE in that picture next to Allie?
Riding the pony was a little different this year.
Riding the pony was a little different this year.
Last year, I walked next to the pony while Kate wimpered because she hated it.
This year, she was braver, although I'm not sure she cracked a smile the whole ride.
We rode the hayride into the fields of pumpkins.
Here's Mommy and her favorite boy in the whole world! (Besides Daddy, of course.)
This is a memory Kate won't forget. There was a little barrel train ride that takes the kids around the field. Kate came back almost in tears. She told me she thought she was "getting lost".
I guess she thought she was getting lost with a whole bunch of kids. ha! (That's her in the very back, by the way.)
So, now when she looks at this picture, she says, "I did not like that ride. I think I was getting lost." She hasn't forgotten... :)
Jack enjoyed eating a graham cracker. After he was done choking on a piece of hay from the ground, that is.
And, oh my. Did we ever love taking these pictures of little Jack! He's so stinkin' cute, I can hardly stand it.
This is one of those photos where I can almost picture what Kate will look like when she's grown.
After taking pictures in the pumpkin field, Kate got her face painted.
End the trip with a sucker and we were Parents of the Year!
Sweet little Jack trying to touch the pumpkins on our way to the exit.
One last effort to get a picture of all three of them:
See how well that went????
