I totally forgot to put pictures of Kate's big birthday day on here.
We didn't have anything to do that day except go to the YMCA in the morning. Kate woke up early to balloons in her room.
These are terrible quality pictures, I know.
I made her a birthday donut breakfast, which she said was too sweet and she wanted an orange instead. Oh well.
At the Y, she got a birthday shirt and a treat. We ran a couple errands and then spent the rest of the day just hanging out until Daddy got home so we could go out to dinner.
I made Kate a butterfly cake and let her decorate it however she wanted to. This may have been the highlight of her day. She loves to play "cooking show", so this was perfect.
Dinner was... interesting. Jack is not so much fun at a restaurant. Kate did get sung to by the waiters and waitresses and got a big ice cream sundae. Side note: Jack wanted some, so Kate slid it over to him so he could share the sundae. She held onto it the whole time, but of course, he wanted to hold it, so he pulled it, it fell off the table and shattered on the floor. I feel sorry for the people that have to sit by us when we go out. I usually ask for a table away from any human contact.
We opened presents when we got back from dinner. She has been begging for a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup, so there ya go.
She REALLY loved the guitar!
We ended the night with cake (that was almost inedible after everything she put on it. ha!)
Jack wouldn't stop blowing out the candles! This picture cracks me up.
