Fishing

Last month, we took Kate fishing for the first time.



I think Papa has been waiting for this for over a year!!



She was so excited to go.



We went to a place called Suson Park. They have a nice big lake, a playground, and an area where you can go and see some animals.





It was such a fun day. We ended up catching two fish. Thank goodness, because about ten minutes into our fishing fun, Kate said, "I'm done." ha!!



On our way back from looking at the animals, we saw that Papa was reeling in a fish, so Kate and I ran up and she was able to help him catch a big catfish. Not a minute later, and we got a bite on another pole and Kate and I caught that one together. She was thrilled!!

Grant's Farm

Kate might just be taking after her daddy... she LOVES to take pictures with my little digital camera. Here's some of her recent work:

Baby Blues

Jack has those same baby blues as his big sister.

We think he's cute as can be!

He has developed such a sweet little personality and is moving ALL over the place.

10-10-10

Oct. 10th, 2010... 40 days since I last posted anything. Somewhere in the middle of school starting up again and being in the trenches of the terrible two's (almost three), I have been completely unmotivated to post anything.

The whole idea of actually taking the memory card out of the camera, uploading the pictures to the computer and then actually putting captions (gasp!) to go with them totally overwhelms me at the thought of it. How ridiculous is that??

Besides, I've been collapsing on the couch every night and passing out by 9.

So, this is my blog post to hold me accountable. THIS WEEK, I will begin posting everything that has happened the past forty days. Well, maybe not everything. Some of it (a lot of it!) is just plain ugly and would make you want to walk away from your computer. Quickly.

Ok, now it's out there... I WILL get the memory card out of the camera. I WILL upload them. I think I can, I think I can, I think I... oops, sorry. I just dozed off there. :)
