Pee Wee Soccer

Oh, the good old blog.  My intentions are good, but somehow it always seems to get pushed aside.  How many times have you heard THAT one??? Maybe I should just reconcile myself to being a very occasional blogger and then if it goes beyond that, yay for me! :)

Ok, back to the point of this post... soccer.  We registered Jack for Pee Wee soccer at the beginning of the summer.  First practice=hilarious.  Imagine a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds wearing shirts three sizes too big for them, and hearing words like "scrimmage" and "defense".  Lots of blank stares and kids playing with blades of grass.

Needless to say, it was a fun experience.  Not so sure we have the next David Beckham on our hands, but nonetheless, he learned some basics, wore the soccer gear, learned not to use his hands, and got to run around with other crazy kids.

These are some pictures from his first practice (when he was in desperate need of a haircut!)
