St. Patrick's Day Parade

Last Saturday, we ventured downtown for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. It's a big one! It lasted almost two hours!

The kids got a ton of beads, a few hats, and even some flowers from the Botanical Gardens people.

The weather was amazing! The kids even got a little sun on their faces.

She takes her parades very seriously.

The kids got their faces painted... a shamrock for Kate and a green goatee for Jack Man.

Valentine's Day Scavenger Hunt

We started a tradition a couple years ago of doing a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt with the kids.

This year, we had friends coming in town on Valentine's Day, so we did it the night before.  I love this tradition!

Kid Updates

The kids both had well visits yesterday and they are healthy, growing kiddos!

Kate is 4' 1.5" tall.  She's in the 95th percentile for height.  She is super tall and no one can ever believe she is only in kindergarten!

She weighs 60 pounds and is in the 93rd percentile for weight.

Jack Man is 3' 5.5" tall and weighs 39 pounds.  He is in the 73rd percentile for both height and weight.

We have been worried about Jack's hearing the past few weeks.  We've noticed a change in his response to us and he was always asking for the t.v. to be turned up.  Turns out he had a double ear infection!  The doctor said his ear was full of fluid and that it's like hearing underwater.  Poor kid!! He's on antibiotics now and I'm anxious to talk to him without him asking, "What you say?" all the time!

So thankful we have healthy, happy kids!
