Sweet Little Jack Man

Jack

I'm smitten with this little guy.

He smiles anytime he sees us and it literally brightens up my whole day.

He sucks his thumb and it's the cutest thing ever. Never mind that it might mess up his teeth some day. We'll deal with that later. For now, I'm just enjoying it.

He still has that crazy hair. One day, it will look like it is starting to lay down, and the next day... bam! There it is sticking straight up again.

He has started to giggle and it makes me just as excited as I was the first time I heard Kate giggle. Which was a relief. I was worried about things not being as "exciting" with the second baby.

He is the best baby. That evening fussiness has subsided. He is content just to sit and look around. He rarely cries, unless he is tired or hungry, and both of those are easy fixes.

He loves taking a bath each night. We usually put his tub in the big tub and bathe both him and Kate at the same time (which she loves). He pees everytime, and Kate thinks that's hilarious. She sticks her hand in his bath water real fast after he pees, and days, "OOPS, I touch Jack's pee pee." Yep, that's the kind of crazy fun that takes place in the Roskowske household.

He is growing like crazy! He has chub on his baby thighs. Kate's head was like twice his size, so it still seems like he has a little peanut head to me. He is wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes.

He is an awesome sleeper!! You can usually guarantee a 9 hour stretch at night, generally from about 8-5. He gets fed and goes right back down, until we wake him up (on the weekdays). He takes 2-3 naps per day.

He HATES the car!! We can't figure it out, but he will be fine for about the first five minutes. After that, you can pretty much guarantee that you will hear screaming the rest of the way. It may have something to do with the fact that he can't see us. As laid back as he is, he likes to be in the middle of the action.

He is such a sweet boy. We are crazy about him!!

Pictures

Holy cow... I just realized how long it's been since I've blogged.

School is almost out and things are a little crazy trying to wrap up the year. I am SO excited for this summer. I can't wait to be home with the kids and just do our own thing each day. It has gotten pretty exhausting having to rush everyone out the door in the morning, so I am looking VERY forward to a break from that!!

We took these pictures for Mother's Day gifts, so I didn't want to post them before that day. Then, I forgot to post them for everyone else to see (Me, forget?? Imagine that!)

Sweet

Can you believe how big Jack has gotten??

The kids

Serious

Oh, my girl... I can't get enough of her.

Big sister, little brother

And Jack. Sweet, precious Jack. I could literally hold him and smell his perfect little baby head forever.

We LOVE having two little ones. It's totally crazy at times, but it is so much fun.
