School can't slow down the fun! We had a lot of little fun things in August after school started.
It's still SOOO hot! Lots of swimming and playing in the sprinkler.
Jack started tae kwon do. This was his introduction. He loves it!
I promised the kids we would go do the jumping thing at the mall.
The kids each had their first homework assignments of the year.
We went to Bingo night at school.
We had lots of reading picnics/doing homework outside/staying outside til dinner and then eating dinner outside kind of days.
The kids begged us to buy a real coconut so they could crack it open. Not sure if it lived up to the hype.
Our neighborhood had a block party/ice cream social with an outdoor movie for the kiddos.
We finished out the month celebrating Papa's birthday here at the house.
